The Mission of the Columbus Area United Way is to focus resources to measurably improve the education, health, and financial stability of our community.
Your donation to the Columbus Area United Way supports the work of our Partner Agency Programs, Direct Programs, and Community Partnerships. 98 cents of every dollar you give stays in our community, and that 1 in 6 community members are served through Columbus Area United Way programming. United Way donations will help thousands of our neighbors and friends who live and work in Platte, Boone, Colfax, and Nance counties.

Adults improve job relevant skills.

Each year, local volunteers evaluate the needs of our community, thoroughly review each agency and program applying for funding, identify which ones will best address those needs, and decide how available funds will be distributed.
