Columbus Community Hospital
Columbus Community Hospital (CCH) is a not-for-profit, accredited hospital licensed by the Nebraska State Board of Health. It is an acute care facility certified for swing beds and ambulatory outpatient beds. Genesis House
Genesis House focuses available resources and services on the prevention of violence and the restoration of wholeness to women and children recovering from domestic abuse. Services include: Long-Term Transitional Program (frequent one-on-one mentoring sessions); Life Skills Classes and Wellness (yoga, community garden, cooking, healthy eating, self-protection training, parenting, etc); Assistance with Finding Safe and Affordable Housing; Finding Financial Freedom (help with budgeting, banking, etc.); Education and Job advancement (computer skills education, resume writing, career counseling, GED, etc.); Help with Protection Orders and court accompaniment; Legal Referrals (for court proceedings or other victim assistance legal matters; Violence Prevention Education Programs.

Columbus Area Survivors of Suicide Support Group 
meets monthly (1st Tuesday of month) 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church (2710 14th Street). This is an open forum to share thoughts & ideas in an effort to help them heal from their tragic loss. Post prevention for anyone ages 18 & older that has been affected by the loss of a friend or loved one due to suicide.
