
Full-Service Community School Coordinator
The Community School Coordinator (CSC) is a full- time school-based position, intended to promote partnerships which support students and families in their school and life goals. This position is comprised of working as a Community Response Coach (.25 FTE) to assist with determining barriers and needs families are facing. The other portion of the time (.75 FTE) will be spent applying what is learned from working with families to the CSC work. The CSC acts as a strategic thought partner responsible to execute the coordination and alignment of resources within their assigned community school (Schuyler Elementary) to achieve desired educational and developmental outcomes. This position is expected to carry out all of the work in partnership with students, families and the community - under the vision and direction of the community collaborative leadership, school principal, and the site based FSCS team. Coordination is done under the core components of a community school and other relevant frameworks; it is also dependent on needs present in the school and addresses key priority areas, such as: academic, social-emotional, health, basic needs and others. All of this done in the context of community and school partnerships which support the whole child and their family.

Community Response Coach – Paid Internship
This position is supervised by the Central Navigator of Columbus Area United Way. Community Response is a coordinated system of supports and services for children and families to strengthen families and build protective factors. It is a system that can prevent families from unnecessary entry or re-entry in higher-end systems of care. Coaching builds upon those supports and services to address a family’s current needs, future goals, and sustainability.
The Community Response Coach will assist referred or identified individuals and families in accessing needed services and resources in the community, especially during times of stress and crisis. Then if needed and agreed upon, coaching the family or individual through identified risks and needs to achieve desired goals, and to reach and sustain protective factors.
Part-Time Coach (Rooted in Relationships)
Rooted in Relationships is looking for a part time preferably bilingual coach in the Colfax County area for the Pyramid Training. Minimum of 3 years working with young children and families, a bachelor's degree with knowledge and expertise regarding developmentally appropriate practices. Must maintain commitment to ongoing professional development and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Training provided; previous coaching experience preferred.
